A weekend at home...
I hadn't been home for a while, so was nice to be back for a long weekend. It was my two friends 20th Birthday's, so 18 of us went to the Ashbridge for a meal and then went onto Newport. I had a lovely time and was really good to catch up with everyone! :)

I LOVE London!!
I've been to London a few times before but was a while back, so could faintly remember it.
I found some of the stalls in Bett really interesting and was amazed at some of the software, especially the frog program. I think that it would really be beneficial for children, parents and teachers. After the convention we got on a tube and went to Covent Garden for a bit of a shop. In the evening we got on another tube to Leciester Square for food at Garfunkels. Overall I very much enjoyed our first day.
The next day we went to Harrods and to oxford street and regent street to have a look aroud the shops. I didn't succeed in buying anything how ever had a great day browsing the streets.
I love how good of a transport system the tubes are as you can just jump on one and go wherever you like in such a small amount of time which is useful as there is so much to do in London. Definately will have to visit again in the near future! :)

Visual Communications = COMPLETE! :)
Today I had a seminar where we were given a talk about a possibilty of a new module on my course, called Youth and Community work. I found this talk very interesting and believe that it would be good to experience something of the kind, as if things don't work out with the PGCE then I will have some experience with another area of working with people that I am interested in.
After the seminar I took a trip to town to get a few essentials and came home to finish the last few things off for my visual communications project. I have to admitt I have quite enjoyed working on something different for a change and I am very pleased with my final outcome. Lets hope all the work pays off...

Busy, busy, busy!
Yesterday morning I was glad to head back to Swansea. I spent most of the day doing uni work and finishing off my visual communications portfolio. I have enjoyed using different materials and exploring different things, even though I don't have a natural artistic ability I have tried to work around it. I have also found it difficult to try and incoporate ICT into my portfolio but I have tried to do what I can. After working for most of the day, in the evening the girls on my floor ordered a well deserved chinese which was lovely! We all sat and chilled then before bed and not all much happened after that :)

time for bed..
These past couple of days haven't been very exciting. Today I was up early again for a driving lesson at 10. I came back and got on with some uni work untill my Nan and Grandad came over to visit. The rest of the day was spent sorting my washing out, ironing and getting my things together, ready to set off to Swansea in the morning. Right now I am absolutely knackered so going to get ready for bed! Bright and early start again tomorrow..
yesterday..
Yesterday I woke up pretty early to get on with some uni work. I then had work at 3:45 and was expecting to finish by 6, however we had to stay on to change the room around for the evening wedding party. I ended up finishing at 8:15 and was supposed to be picked up from home at 8 to meet some friends at our local pub. As I was late and didn't have chance to go home I had to turn up in my works uniform so I wan't very impressed! I had a good catch up with certain people that I had'nt seen for a while and I didn't get in untill about 11:30. That were the events of the day, not a lot happened.

off home again..
Today hasn't been very eventful, it was an early start with lectures at 9! Lectures finished at 1:15 and I had to leave to head home at 3:30 so I gave my room it's weekly clean before I left. It only takes about an hour to get home to Cwmbran but the weeks go so fast and it seems like yesterday that I was only heading back to uni. It neither feels like I live in halls or at home as I am back and forth every week to keep my job going. I love being in uni and going home to see everyone and to keep the money coming in but I wish that I didn't have to pack my things up every couple of days. I am looking forward to staying in uni after next weekend for a few weeks so that I can stay settled. Maybe next year will be better when hopefully I will find a job in Swansea as I can then go home every so often and not every single week. I suppose I am lucky that I don't live to far away and can go home when I like :)
